'The Proust questionnaire’ is one of the best-known interviews used in the media. Proust established the questions as the quickest way to reveal a person’s true character. Today you can read the story of Nicole Moorey, one of our community members.

"I am Nicole Moorey, a nature-inspired emotional wellness coach. My clients spend so much time and energy on their businesses and their families. There is never any time left for themselves. Which is OK to some degree, but it becomes problematic when you never have time for yourself."
What makes you different from the traditional Wellness Coach? "I help you to set up a routine and to deal with the underlying problem. That's when Emotional Wellness comes in. A lot of us neglect emotions; we don't know what to do with them. It's a thrill for me to show how simple it can be to turn that all around, and prioritize taking care of yourself, which actually benefits your business in the end. The specific moment I decided I have to do this, is that I learned about emotional empowerment myself. I was feeling overwhelmed by all of the things that I was responsible for. I wasn't taking care of myself. And I came to understand there is a healthy way to deal with all of this. So that's where it started."
What is your favourite question?
"My favourite question is number 8: what do you consider the most overrated virtue? A huge part of what I do in my work and my life is to recognize that working isn't the be-all and the end-all. That in fact, there are other stages too, which are important. Rest would be the opposite of diligence, I think. And rest is so underrated. It is important for all of us to fill our cups, to renew ourselves. That action is what's going to make our work more powerful. It really is a cycle. There is a season for everything, and I believe it is the same for us humans because we are nature!"
